The Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid doesn’t look like the graphic anymore. It underwent some serious renovations that started back in 2020 and is just about finished by now. It is now an extremely modern stadium with a retractable roof and even the field is removable (it is stored underground when not in use). As of right now, it’s probably the most modern stadium in Europe and one of the most modern in the world.

The Puskás Stadium in Budapest was named after Ferenc Puskás. One of the best footballers ever in history. He was born in 1927 and died in 2006. Star of the Hungarian national football team and Real Madrid. In the Hungarian national team, he scored 84 goals in 85 matches. He scored 156 goals in 180 games in Madrid. All this happened in the 50's and 60's. The most famous Hungarian in history.

I have a story about him.
In 2001, I was in Singapore on a business trip. I visited neighboring Malaysia when I returned to Singapore at the Malaysian border for approx. a 30-year-old Malaysian border guard asked for my passport and saw that I was Hungarian. He looked at me and with a big smile on his face just said: Oh, Puskás, Puskás! - In 2001, a 30-year-old Malaysian border guard at the Singapore-Malay border also knew who he was. Brilliant!

This is Football and Olympics stadiums. In Europa is bigger stadiums, for example The Great Strahov Stadium (Czech: Velký strahovský stadion) is a stadium in the Strahov district of Prague, Czech Republic. It was built for displays of synchronized gymnastics on a massive scale, with a field three times as long and three times as wide as the standard association football pitch. Its capacity of 250, 000 spectators (56, 000 seated) made it larger than any current or former sports stadium, and the second largest sports venue ever.

the OAKA Stadium in Athens, Greece was built in 1982, and later renovated for the 2004 olympics, and it can hold up to 75, 000 for concerts and other events. Its currently undergoing a renovation due to some issues with the roof. Also the Camp Nou in Barcelona is expected to surpass 100, 000 capacity after the renovations. So excited i will be at Barcelona for vacations after the renovations are complete. Cant wait to see it in person!

The old Estádio da Luz used to have a capacity of 120, 000 (there were three rings instead of two), so it had twice the capacity of the new one, though the new one can have up to 82, 000 spectators for non-football events. I remember being there at the old stadium at full capacity as a kid - which was craaaazy! Especially as a kid! There used to be quite a few giant football stadiums back then (like the Red Star Stadium in Belgrade with 110, 000 or the Puskás Ferenc Stadium in Budapest with 100, 000, for example), but for security reasons they have been downsized - mostly somewhere between 55, 000 and 70, 000.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the first and only stadium to be designed specially for NFL games outside of North America and is officially the home of the NFL in the UK.
The NFL International Series is a series of American football games during the National Football League (NFL) regular season that are played outside the United States. Since 2024, the series has three sub-series: the NFL London Games in the United Kingdom, which have been in place since 2007; the NFL Germany Games in multiple cities and the NFL Brazil game.
2:02 a lot of famous UK football clubs are from London. Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham United and many other smaller FC's
3:40 Olympiastadion was built for (in)famous 1936 Summer Olympic Games. During the Olympics, the record attendance was thought to be over 100, 000
Fun fact: Red Bull Arena in Leipzeig was built within the confines of an old Zentralstadion (similar to Soldier Field in Chicago) that was built in 1956 from 1.5 million cubic metres of debris from the World War II bombing of Leipzig and could hold 120, 000 spectators. It was made by the same architect as the Berlin Olympiastadion

Wembley Stadium is often mentioned as a concert venue: "David Bowie - Heroes (Live Aid, 1985)". Also the Summer Olympics of 1948 were held there. Here's some Olympic Stadium history and development: "All Olympic Stadiums (1896 - 2032)". Helsinki Olympic Stadium was renewed just recently. The stadium is sometimes referred as the most beautiful Summer Olympic stadium: "1952 HELSINKI OLYMPIC GAMES: Opening ceremony (1952) ", "Helsingin Olympiastadion Helsinki Olympic Stadium Finland Suomi DJI Mavic AIR 2", "Olympic Stadium towards new era", "Renewed Helsinki Olympic Stadium Opened" and "Helsinki Olympic Stadium re-opening | Chasing marathon | Episode 19".

You could do a few videos on the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. It cost approximately a billion and opened a couple of years ago. Its got all the latest tech with things like a pitch that splits into 3 and goes below the south stand and an F1 track in the stadium.

You should react to the new Santiago Bernabéu. One of the greatest works of modern engineering that will turn it into one of the best, if not the best, stadium in the world. It has a patented system with a mechanism that hides the grass under the ground, where it can be cared for with an irrigation system and UV rays.

Most football stadiums in Europe are not just simple stadiums. They are sacred ground. Some of the newer stadiums simply replaced older ones. You really get a sense of awe when you enter a stage like that.

You should check out the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain, what was shown in that video doesn't exist, it wasn't either the old stadium nor the current version which is close to be done with renovations, the new version looks like something from outer space now and has increased its capacity, also has a retractable pitch that goes underground to use it all year long for other events like concerts or other sports like Basketball, tennis, nfl, and such, also has a retractable roof that closes it fully, just amazing looking, thanks for your videos they are fun, take care man.

1:20 Celtic is pronounced sell tick.
The figure is incorrect. It 60, 411.
It was rebuilt in 1994 on the ground of the original stadium. The reason for the design is the smaller stand is listed, although this is debated by some fans.
The stadium holds 60, 411 and has around 54, 000 season tickets holders (the most in the UK according to Celtic), with another 28, 000 on a waiting list. That stat came from ex captain Scott Brown.
