Hi Mak, thanks for a great fly tied using the KISS principles of fly tying! Our brown beetles come out of the paddocks (grass grubs) in November and are a favourite trout food source, especially when the wind sweeps them off the overhanging trees. I do like your method and calm explanations of your fly tying art.

Nicely tied little bug there Mak. Although, for some reason foam built flies don’t do it for 🤔. Don’t know why but it does look nice anyway. Thanks for another one
