Well, this all but guarantees Oakland will never have an NFL team ever again. No way will the NFL ever consider Oakland as an option after this petty lawsuit. Serves them right though. What a clown show! They do nothing to keep the Raiders in Oakland and now they're suing just out of spite. What a joke. Glad to see the Raiders coming to Vegas instead!

Honestly as a true Raider fan from Los Angeles I understand that lot of Oakland fans are very disappointed yes I wish the Raiders could have done better to get a brand new stadium at the city but unfortunately they have to move to Vegas which it is what it is and also keeping the name in Oakland is not going to happen you guys don't own the name it belongs to the Davis family even Mark Davis himself says that he will never ever will change the name because that's his father's Legacy so good luck with that I'm just saying I'm not trying to start all I'm saying is come on guys can we just support the team instead of facing against the team and just be happy at least they got a new stadium yes I know it's not an Oakland anymore its way far away which it is what it is so come on guys can we support the team instead please

"sigh" So, they want to keep the Raiders name, the brand in Oakland and not the team. They do realize if they go through with their current lawsuit, which they may greatly lose, the NFL will potentially not come back to Oakland again. The NFL can be bitter and give potential expansion teams to other cities before they even consider Oakland again. They may consider coming back if the money is there. If the money is not there, they will not come back. As it stands now, Oakland cannot support multiple professional sports teams. They can barely support one professional sports team. Personally, I am surprised the City of Oakland are still fighting to keep the Raiders, the brand, when they did not try this hard to keep the Warriors.
