Must be a station run entirely by interns. They did a lousy job of even explaining what the amendment is...much less the story about it. Horrible job, here...

I'm not in your state. Your description of Amendment D was as clear as mud. (Not sure why this showed up in my feed.)

That said, the Utah News Dispatch explained it quite well. I'd encourage anyone in the Beehive State to vote against that amendment, if you want citizen initiatives to remain a viable way of changing things the legislature refuses to look at.

So the vote won't count this time? Vote against it anyway. Your votes will send a strong message to your legislature to leave this constitutionally-protected right alone.

States use language that make it difficult to discern a clear yes or no so you might vote against your own best interest.
