Would be interesting to know more about the syntax and/or inner mechanics of that command. Like at first I thought it was generating an array based on regex, except Regex would be a-z, and wouldn't use a 3rd parameter to denote skipping elements, so this is clearly a unique syntax.

Also what sort of more practical use cases does this have? and is that notation limited to echo command, or is it applicable universally to inputs for any command?
