Linux File Permissions in 5 Minutes | MUST Know!

To be a competent Linux user, among other things, you really need to have an understanding of file permissions.

Who owns the file or directory? Who can read, write, and execute this file or directory? It is a matter of security.

When I was a new developer on my first Linux system, I didn't understand this properly. I just used sudo for everything.
