We create a simple and easy mobile endless runner in Unity 3D which we will later on release on the Google Play Store. And we will do it in a quick and dirty fashion. Follow me step-by-step through the process in this guide/tutorial.

Today I want to give you a quick little update on what I worked in the last couple of days. I fixed some issues with the colliders, optimized shadows and also rebuilt the side content prefabs for houses and so on.

Follow me though step by step and create your very own version of the endless runner.

I'm using a truck prefab I found and I just raised it up off the ground a bit and it didn't collide with my ground anymore and the driving was smooth. No need to mess with meshes in my case thankfully.

Hey there, great content! Unfortunatly to my experience the shadow will kill performance as you already mentioned. Maybe you can change the sun angle so that shadows are only thrown onto the houses prefab area so that you can prebake the light there. For more dynamic object you can still use the dynamic light/shadows then. Keep it up!

Great video!. I`m doing an endless runner game too, and Iḿ having an issue with the draw calls, are a lot. Do you have some advice? Thanks!

My plots don't despawn. How could I make them despawn? as after a while there could be hundreds of plots spawned and cause lag

you started off as a tutorial and now this. You should have at least mention for the people who are following along that it wont be a tutorial in next videos
