Guitarists hear Jeff at moments like that and think ''Sweet! Here we go. Take us there, Jeff!''. Those who play other instruments think ''WTF is he doing?'' and stand in awe of the guitar as a totally freaky thing. Non musicians simply revel in childlike amazement. I will always remember him as the guy who never lost his inner child's thrill of the possible, the could I?, the what if I tried this..?.

Old school guitar playing with the great Jeff Beck. He got all those sounds with his guitar, his amp, and his hands; no pedals. They were uncommon in those days. In fact, in the early 70s, when I grew up playing, they would question the veracity of your wrists if you used pedals.

Well, you know good luck anybody else?! That’s just phenomenal. No one no one plays like that. No one has so much control precise holy smoking! 😢 that emoji just showed up so hey there it is inspiration.. I saw him once at a fundraiser Joe Cocker Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton I think somebody else all of them are excellent, My thoughts in the rock and roll review for San Francisco Chronicle the next morning, they were all amazing, but Jeff Beck brewery went into the bay!! and that was a simple fact, Jeff Beck blew the stage up. We are all 100 feet in the air. that was in the mid-1980s.
