Page didn’t do a solo because it was Beck’s he mentioned this on an interview later on.

Page probably hasn't played this song in many many years. But 50 years ago, him & Beck were rocking this tune.

I can imagine the rehearsals, "Well, we've got 46 guitarists on stage - who's going to be the star... Oh Jeff beck is here. Problem solved." RIP to I believe the greatest rock guitarist ever.

Train Kept a Rollin was written and performed by Tiny Bradshaw in 1951, then popularized by The Yardbirds in the 1966 movie titled "Blowup". After that Aerosmith popularized it, and still performs it. This song is a true ROCK institution in culture

In this song, we had:
Vocals: James Hetfield
Lead Guitar: Jeff Beck, Kirk Hammet, & Joe Perry
Rhythm Guitar: James Hetfield, Jimmy Page, & Ron Wood
Bass: Robert Trujillo, Flea, & Jason Newsted
Drums: Lars Ulrich

That's a damn good lineup if I ever saw one!

When you can look at a group like that and remember you've seen them all, live in their prime you know you've had a pretty good life and are very lucky to have grown up when you did . PK

RIP Jeff. One thing I always admired about Page was his humility and respect for other musicians.

3:09 Joe Perry wanted to give the guitar solo off to the true guitar god Jimmy Page and Page was playing rhythm... That Page solo would have been volcanic eruptions!! Music is amazing!!
