Alice was very good friends with Glen Campbell, who was right up there as one of the best.

I remember how brutally honest Jeff was, even about his best childhood friend Jimmy Page. Jeff saw Jimmy on one of Zeppelins 1977 shows and he said Jimmy sounded like he’s playing with broken fingers. At the time I read it, I remember thinking that was cold, but he probably wasn’t wrong. Jimmy was a mess that tour, mainly because of heroin. Jeff was a perfectionist and knew that Jimmy was better than that. I miss Jeff and his brutally honest guitar playing. He put himself under the same scrutiny. It didn’t happen often, but when he didn’t have a good night he would be beside himself. R.I.P. Jeff. You were uncopyable. 🙏🎸

I was.lucky enough to see Clapton, Beck and Trower in one year ( 2006 ) . I literally looked to the sky and said " Thank you God " . BECK had the whole place standing for the whole concert ! You could tell the man majority of the audience were guitar players . They kept saying " How does he do that " ! It was I credible ! PK
