Reverse Parallel Park a Car NO DRY STEERING (The Best Way)
Показать описание
You have to try this method! Align your vehicle correctly and avoid static steering to parallel park a car perfectly every time. Which aspects of reverse parallel parking do people struggle with the most? Is it static steering, lining up incorrectly or synchronisation of movement and turning ratio? Static or dry steering may limit the vehicle's manoeuvrability, especially in tight spaces during low-speed manoeuvres. In other words, you can only accurately predict the course of your path if you turn the steering wheel while the car is moving slowly. The best way to optimise your path when reversing is by overshooting a vehicle you intend to park behind because of a better viewing angle and a little extra space to avoid dry steering.

I use and highly recommend the bubble round side mirrors, which are inexpensive and give an accurate picture when reverse parking. You can purchase it through the affiliate link below.

In this video, Steve demonstrates how you should position your car before you start reversing. Overshoot slightly until your side mirror aligns with the front end of the vehicle next to you. Please note this is a guide for this scenario. These steps may differ if you are driving a larger car or starting the manoeuvre from a different angle. If you are an inexperienced driver, dry or static steering can result in oversteering and subsequently overcorrecting the angle of the wheels, leading to a loss of path accuracy.
