As a native who has grown with tamarind all my life, I'd say the easiest way to make this juice is to first boil the tamarid with lots of water and strain, its easy and quick. You can also blend the strained juice with cardamom seeds for flavor it tastes amazing. I hope this helps

I searched on Amazon and found the fresh tamarind. I also found tamarind slab and wet seedless slab this is a lroduct of India. The main ingredienttamarindis the only ingredient. From the look of the package, the slab may eliminate the need to soak and use a blender. I also learned that tamarind is used to make Mexican candy. So people check out your local Mexican grocery. Sorry, I don't know how to copy the Amazon link for the product.
