How to make Tamarind Juice at Home

If you love sweet, tart and tangy flavors then you will enjoy this juice. I love anything tamarind / tambran flavor.

👩🏻‍🍳 TAMARIND / TAMBRAN JUICE

1/2 lb. tamarind pods, shelled and deveined
3 cups + 5 cups water
¾ cup white sugar
Ice

I made some last week. But I really wanted the pulp to make tamarind chutney. I use the chutney on my salads and I thought that I could save money by making it myself. I added some spices and it was really good.
