Honestly, most industries need to wake up and unionize and realize that our broken capitalist system is squeezing the life, culture, and creativity out of the people.

It was the Unions that made this country at least livable.

Hmm I guess one way we can support writers is to unsubscribe from streaming services and cite the reasons as being in support of the writers' strike.

Honestly, i could go a full YEAR with NO new Primetime or even Daytime Soaps & still be getting caught up with ALL the SHOWS still on my DVR! But losing my COLBERT, is just killing me already!! Otherwise, take ALL the time you need - WRITERS!!!

It’s the same story over and over and over again. The only difference is these people have a union info unlike the rest office they are standing up for themselves. Even in progressive Hollywood the select few at the top of the food chain, have a hard time understanding. Why all of the little people who make it possible for them to be a star should receive fair compensation for their work. I recently saw a clip where Bernie Sanders told Mike Wallace, that it should be illegal to have more than $1 billion. Well, Mike Wallace seemed extremely flabbergasted at the idea. Bernie was very reasonable, logical, and convincing in his argument. Caller.

Only a fool would not realize that an economic strike to help any working people with better wages, benefits, and working conditions has an indirect ripple effect to help all workers.

The bosses earn more cash every year, but you won't let the Richters get what they want? They deserve so much more. CNN should try to help them more

Would have been nice if this much support had been on display for the rail workers. But good luck and god speed to the writers. I need my fantasy escapism.

Im actually against collective bargaining and unionizing this way it’s dishonest and doesn’t leave room for individuals to have a voice of their own, most unions like this are pretty liberal.

Kids are going to be able to write this with AI anyway so all these people better grab a shovel or a mop and get back to reality.

There is a shocker. Like what's he gonna say that he doesn't support the strike?? I haven't watch late night TV since Lederman retired and even then his show was pretty bad the last few years. YouTube for me baby.
