Last year at this same time we got a bad winter storm that was very windy and a foot of snow and temps around 25 here in E TX, i lost half a tree.

Don't rely on 4WD or AWD to keep you safe. Especially on ice, those are actually more likely to get you into trouble because they make you feel more comfortable. Every car has four wheel brakes and two wheel steering. When it matters, you have no advantage.

No storm here in western Arkansas. Just light freezing rain. Everyone needs to stay home Tuesday and maybe Wednesday as the roads aren't passable right now.
