This is okay for a quick fix.
It'll help get rid of soot, but the build up of ash will still be there.
Ideally, take the dpf off, and there are twonparts to this.
1st. Soak the dpf eith drain cleaner, that will help get rid of the soot.
Soak, wash, soak wash for about 30 to 60 mins.
2nd. Soak with a dilution of 3/4 water and 1/4 brick acid cleaner.
Again time period.
This will eat the blocks of ash and oil which have built up.
Never put straight up brick vleaner in. It will war and dissolve the steel casing.
Keep up with the dpf cleaning.
