This is not just some guy talking — Dr. Roger McIntyre is currently a Professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology at the University of Toronto and Head of the Mood Disorders Psychopharmacology Unit at the University Health Network, Toronto, Canada.

He is also the past chair of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, a U.S. nonprofit focused on advocating for and providing free online and in-person support groups for folks with mood disorders (as well as their parents, caretakers, friends, and family members).

Mental disorders are often so vague and the “symptoms” criss cross so much. This is why people don’t trust psychiatrists and their methods because it’s just not good enough. There are theories and equations in physics that can predict complex situations, but psychiatry, you could fit literally everyone in almost all of the disorders. It is so inaccurate and so ineffective, and it’s so criminal that it even exists. The funny thing is, even after a successful diagnosis, there is no structured treatment, doctors have to experiment with the same set of drugs and with trial and error, they need to find what drug works the best😂 it’s a joke. I was misdiagnosed, and no medication ever worked for me. I had clinical depression but I was suspected to be bipolar type 2. 3 years of my life, my psy, experimented with different drugs and it changed my personality completely, it took me another 5 years to become independent with the support of my family and friends.

The definition of hypomania is hilarious, in short you’re not depressed. Psychology is such a load of crap.
