My god. I've watched so many videos and looked at so many web pages, and for the first time, I can count in binary without aid. Fantastic. I don't know why this example clicked and the others didn't, but there's no doubt now, I can easily understand binary numbers.

1:55 Just to give some context here; what's being described is converting an analogue signal/wave (live music/voice and/or vinyl recordings) to digital, then back to analogue because your ears hear in analogue. Not digital. Process that for a moment and you'll understand why a good vinyl recording sounds better than your (very average) MP3.
