An Introduction to Binary Numbers

This video briefly explains what binary numbers are. In particular, it explains what each digit in a binary number represents (a multiple of a power of two - i.e. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc.) and compares that with what each digit in a decimal number represents (a multiple of a power of ten - i.e. 1, 10 , 100, 1000, etc.).
