Did You Know In THE TRUMAN SHOW …

There are cameras hidden in plain sight that the viewers even miss! The whole premise of the movie is that Truman, played by Jim Carrey, is being filmed and is the star of a reality TV show he’s not been aware of his entire life. What most viewers also weren't aware of was that cameras were in shots early on in the film that would have given away most of the plot, but were just missed. At first viewings, people complained about the odd angles of some scenes or overly static shots without realising this was done to capture the hidden cameras.

Ruined the plot? The START of the movie TELLS us that it’s a show about his life that he doesn’t know is happening. Of course he doesn’t notice them, but why wouldn’t we?

All of the vehicles in the movie came from Enterprise Rent a Car, & most came through the one I worked at in Panama City Fl. There was also an indoor set used when it would be raining in Destin where the main set was located, in a Sears warehouse close to my store. I got to meet Carrey there one day because his masseuse’s car from us had a flat tire & we just switched out cars because the movie company paid for it. They also paid for any damages to the vehicles. The cool part was they would leave scripts in cars & when we would switch them out we got to keep them.
Ironically I’ve never watched the movie, I saw it behind the scenes so just never did.

Also when i first watched this movie, you can notice that the cast and fact people on his lives see and look at the cameras, but he doesn't cuz he doesn't know there there
