Knitting for beginners: learn how to purl stitch

Hello and welcome to the second video in this knit video series! Let me know, are you ready to take on the purl stitch? 🦙 Once you've mastered (or, even gotten the hang just slightly) of how to knit and purl stitch, the sky's the limit to what you can knit! ✨
Today, we'll be doing a super simple knitted scrunchie project that you can make in an evening and it's the perfect project for all that scrap yarn 🧶

For this project you'll need:
-Knitting needles (I used 6mm straight ones)
-Fuzzy yarn, I used this one : Sandnes Garn Silk Mohair in colour Kitt 1015
- Elastic thread
- Tapestry needle
- Pair of scissors
- Crochet hook (I used a 5mm one)

I'm SO in love with this series!!!! I bought all the supplies and finished my dishcloth and am now working on this scrunchy! The first project was a bit frustrating but I'm starting to gain some confidence with this second one. I am just finishing off my crochet sweater with a lot of chunky Stiches and I realized I want to learn knitting. I am not very talented with reading patterns anf following the instructions but maybe knitting suits me better than crocheting. I love your little project and your surroundings.

Didn't get around to do the supply shopping but I've got everything for the last video, so I'll start a week late ^^
If you do something like this again in the future (would be awesome :D), you might consider doing a community-post or a short video in which you say what supplies we will need, so we can purchase the stuff before the actual video comes out =)
