In regards to the swearing, they should add a feature which allows the creator to muffle the swear words after posting in order to re-monetize the video. If they already have systems which can flag songs and change the entire language of a video, it shouldn’t be impossible to add something creators can click to automatically cut the sound (or add a sound effect, like bleeping) where swear words are identified.

The worst nightmare of a baby youtuber is that you see "NO" change in your subscribers & views count when you wake up in the morning. It really is painful, when your effort is not recognized. But "REMEMBER".. If you have faith on yourself

YouTube demonetized me under the wrong circumstances, when I appealed they double down but can't show me what rule I broke. They claim my videos utilize other people's footage without transformation, but I've literally never done that, I've been on YouTube for 11 years and most of my content is original. It's so confusing.

The problem is that they limited your monetisation and reach via making it age restricted, and they don’t tell you which specific part of your video triggered it. Then if you appeal the decision and you edit your video after that appeal it won’t matter. They’ve been very unethical and lack transparency in the way they’ve implemented these unfair changes. This has caused many unnecessary financial hardships, and is clearly a cash grab on Yt perspective, as they’ll continue to run ads and take a bigger cut. Also they focus on populating our feeds with companies videos now which pay more. Creativity always loses out to greed.

Seems strange how they demonetized channels yet they still show ads during the videos that were demonetized. Looks like YouTube simply just wants content creators to do it for free while YouTube keeps all of the profits.

I'm currently sitting at 11 subs after starting a month ago and although that's a small number, I'm still pleased and having fun doing what I do. Don't get discouraged and don't quit, keep grinding and the pay off will be worth it!

I think they don't want swears in the first 7 seconds because it's the first thing you see after an ad. Since average retention is only 8 seconds, most people won't hear a swear right after an ad and associate it with the product. Just what I inferred

My guess is the 7 second limit is somehow related to the hover over to play feature.

The fact that content creators have to stress on following the YouTube guidelines in the present along with the unforeseeable future and expect creators to understand the ambiguity in the Terms of Service and other documents when uploading videos is truly the most unforgiving standard in the YouTube system.

Even if you don't swear or play violent video games, they'll still demonetize you for "Reused Content" despite never reusing content.

I've found and compiled several people who had this problem, including myself, who despite making original content or transforming content to be original, were said to have "Reused Content."
