Matthew 19:14

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'' Children are pure at heart, so heaven's gates are always open to them.

I have some questions for those who say infant baptism is wrong (apologies for long post) :

#1) Hypocrisy - you say that children are unworthy of bread and wine and water baptism. Then why do you force them to do other things in Jesus' name? If a child is unworthy to have bread and wine and water baptism, then that child is unworthy to pray in Jesus' name, go to Sunday School in Jesus' name, read Bible in Jesus' name, sings songs and learn music instruments for worship in Jesus' name, etc.

#2) Does God "want" a child to sin first so that the child can then "repent and be baptized". If the child does not sin can't he have fellowship with Jesus? That's what it sounds like - many people "want" their children to sin in order to get baptized. But I want my children to be baptized to enjoy fellowship with Jesus whether they have sinned or not.

#3) Children of believers are already part of body of Christ because Holy Spirit baptism took place in the womb. That's why your children are holy (see 1 Corinthians 7:14). So if they are already part of body of Christ, then why are refusing the bread and wine and water baptism?

#4) More proof that children are part of body of Christ - in Ephesians 6 Paul says children obey your parents. Paul will not instruct children if they weren't part of the body of Christ.

#5) More proof that children are part of body of Christ - Persecution. If christians are persecuted for Jesus' sake, their children will also suffer. How many children are there who have suffered because their parents were christians, some of them were killed, others grew up without a mother or a father because of Jesus. So how dare anyone say they are not part of the body of Christ when they are also sharing in His sufferings. The Lord rebuke you.

#6) More proof that children are part of body of Christ - search on YouTube and see. There are 5 yr olds speaking in tongues, 6 yr olds interpreting tongues, 7 yr olds prophesying, healing sick, 8 yr olds are already preaching on stages. How can anyone say they are not part of body of Christ. And if they are part of the body of Christ, then they are worthy of water baptism and bread and wine.

#7) For those who say that only adults can be baptized, please define the age limit and let me know from scripture why you chose that age? Some say you can be baptized only at age 7, others will say after plus two (12th grade), others will say only at age 30 because Jesus got water baptized at 30. Please define the age at which you can have faith and tell me why you chose that age. According to me, children are born believing. They know how to "trust" from small age. Then it is the world that teaches them unbelief. Look at what Jesus said in the Psalms 22:9 through a prophet: "Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you, even at my mother’s breast."

Dear Brother Paul, I hope you read my comment and answer this if you have few minutes of your valuable time. I witnessed (still do) some miracles of Jesus in my life and since then I'm following Jesus and I go to Church and pray but I never Baptised. But I'll be Baptised. My question is: When I go to church, am I allowed to take the communion? Some said, If I'm not baptised, I'm not allowed to take the communion as bread and wine are the body and blood of Christ. I have looked about this but there is no confirmed information I found. I still take communion sometimes and I hope I'm not doing the sin. I'll be grateful if you can enlighten on this please. Thanks Brother for all your prayers.

Thank you for sharing on this subject Dr. Paul. Infant baptism is unBiblical. JESUS used the example of a little child & said to such belongs the Kingdom of heaven. Infants don't need to be baptized. Once they come into the age of accountability & that would be around 7 years. Then they must hear the Gospel, believe & be baptised.
