Also, Soul Campfires do more damage, so I would use them instead of normal ones.

Let me add, you can tame 5 cats and put them beside the farm so the farm will not spawn cats anymore. You tame cats with RAW fish (not tripical).

If your golems still spawn on the outside, just pathway the outside of your farm using a shovel. The amount you deicde to path is up to you.

Just a few tips from personal experience, hope this helps someone.

For anyone having trouble with the farm, heres what i did to help my problems of the golem not spawing, put a bell around 5 blocks high in the center starting from the height of where you put the leave blocks, around the farm, despawing it with either slabs or dirt path(do around 10 blocks lenght each side, another thing, try to tame five cats and leave them there around the farm (not in the farm lol) and hopeful that helps some of your guys issues. It helped mine for sure

Made this on bedrock last night (Xbox) and have some suggestions that could help a lot:

1.) tame 5 cats and make them sit outside the farm

2.) use soul fire instead of regular campfire for more damage and better rates

3.) use a shovel to turn everything in a 10 block radius to path. This makes it so iron golem spawns in the water

4.) I did a two block tall thing of leaves around. Prevents zombies from getting into the farm while I afk and clogging it up with flesh and random armor

5.) check for caves underneath it. I had an underwater cave that led to a real cave that was screwing up the spawn

6.) dig down to your villagers and make sure they are all full grown and none are nitwits( green shirt) kill the nitwits

7.) I put a bell in the middle, 5 blocks above the leaves. They didn’t spawn until i did that. Attached it to a floating fence.

8.) this one doubled the rates: I put a zombie in a minecart and used powered rails and normal rails to make it go in circles around the villagers. I got rid of one of the blocks (head height) surrounding the villagers so they have line of sight on the zombie. They are constantly getting spooked and spawning the iron golem. NAME THE ZOMBIE OR IT WILL DESPAWN

9.) put leaves over the slabs on the top. My iron golems were sometimes hopping out until I did that

10.) kill the iron golem if he’s outside iron farm. Easiest with bow. Also check all surrounding areas for spawn points

11.) change your simulation distance to the minimum amount (I think 4 chunks).

Hope this helps! I afk’d for 7 hours and got about 14 stacks of iron

I found out what was happening to mine and may have happened to others. When you break the blocks to put down hoppers, water gets into the chamber where the villagers are, and then it breaks the torches so zombies spawn. So all you have to do is put down torches again

As a bedrock player I can confirm this has saved my life

Such a massive help. It's working properly as well. If anyone is struggling on the villager part, just get a boat and put 2 villagers in it and attach lead to the boat by look at the villagers' feet and then just drag them to your base. If you come across a hill, just uee a water bucket on a block of grass and walk, and the boat will catch up with you. Not sure if this works in java though

I love how genuine this is, finding a problem and solving it in the tutorial video itself lol

It’s working great for me on bedrock! We don’t have silk touch yet so I placed a whole bunch of slabs around the farm to stop them from spawning around it.. about 4 stacks of planks worth of slabs..

Anyone who is having issues:

Have you checked there are no caves around you where golems have spawned so that no new ones will spawn in the farm?

Are you sure the hoppers are facing the right way?

Are you sure there are no beds and workstations around?

The farm works just fine even without leaves and using slabs so if you’re having problems, double check everything!

I cannot stress this enough: when bro pointed out how to orient your thing for item flowage at 3:04 I instantly respected this guy cus that’s such useful information that no one puts in their videos

5:38 why did bro not edit the video so we don’t have to collect the resources and then learn we need more!

Can confirm this works very wrll on bedrock! It was working so well that iron golems were spawning right away and were getting in the way when i was trying to work the farm lol. For some reason for me the hoppers wouldnt connect to the chests when the chest was next to the hopper horizontally (unless i placed it wrong or something but i dont think i did) so i just moved the chest below the hoppers and it works like a charm! Had about 2 stacks of iron a half 20 min after making it

Awesome farm, works extremely well! Thanks for the tutorial! I unfortunately broke mine on day 1 by using grindstones as the workstation and breaking the block it was connecting to causing so many villagers to fall into one hole, struggling to try and fix it now and will probably need to breed villagers again which was the longest part 🫤 just a fair warning, if you want to trade with the villagers, maybe make a section for it first to be safe. The grindstone gives amazing trades for an iron farm.

Hey Dude, just got around to making some of your farms, subscribed after the first clip I saw. Everything was explained so clearly. I haven't actually seen any of your older videos and just watched the one where you mentioned the personal stuff... Just wanted to reassure you that the new vibe is great, and not just because you feel better about it :)

it works!!!

(but make sure to position the ends of the hoppers correctly, or else it will not go to the double chest)

also i forgot to put all 6 hoppers, i only used 3, but it still works

After making this myself in Survival, I CAN confirm that it works in May 2025.

P.S. The leafs are optional, I assume it increases spawn rates, so-
