while choosing to be public about something (a relationship, a breakup, a vulnerability) comes with knowing that it’s open to scrutiny, the sheer sexism that people display in these situations is wild. This is simply the tip of the iceberg with things both of us had to navigate. Hopefully one day we’ll all learn to be a little more human :)
