I appreciate that your dad took the time to talk about “if you do have to eat this…” & then told us how to make the noodles healthier. I grew up on ramen due to financial circumstances& time… & I wish we would have known this.

I KNEW IT!! Never had the raccoons and was like “I bet it fish/shrimp flavour” and BAM he’s says it. Love it. So lucky. Best dad ever! His accent is such a wonderful blend with the low voice too is so calming. These are all great! Great for you two and to showcase him at home.

Definite Okonomiyaki vibes, when he mixed in tempura batter and made a pancake out of the ramen and mix-in ingredients. Some shredded white cabbage and pork belly would've worked well here too I think

New to your videos and I'm an instant fan. I'm an avid amateur cook (trained well by mom back in the day) and am always looking for new ideas and recipes. It was so fascinating to watch a pro chef take simple ingredients and make a gourmet dish. It's inspiring!

The way Chef cooks the instant noodles is the way my mom taught me (rinsing off the excess grease and starch before adding it to the broth / adding ingredients) and that's how I've always made it <3
