Great video! These are not necessarily 'tricks' – these are snippets from human behavior psychology as it relates to business management. A lot of these items I studied in Graduate BUSSINESS SCHOOL ( among other strategic techniques) because they work.Most of them if not all of them make perfect sense. And the fine line between persuasion and manipulation - depends on the human personality of the person implementing these techniques. Certain people are born manipulators and they don't even know I stay away from people like this even though sometimes it is unavoidable to not communicate with them. Learning the skill of saying no gracefully is a great way to deal with manipulators. Great tips

Actually studies show that giving a reason for a request doesnt help, it's how you word it, use the word because before giving the reason will make it sound more urgent, even if the reason makes no sense. Like if you're in a check out line and say can I go ahead, because I've got to pay for this will be as effective as saying saying you'll be late to pick up your kids; especially if you use a slightly urgent tone.

As long as you're honest, like persuade a child for his own good, persuasion is okay, but I believe it's wrong to persuade someone against their general will and I hate when people try it with me. I can see right through them and I'll tell them no, every time
