I love your videos, but the music in the background makes it really hard for me to focus and hear what you’re saying.

I think an angel sent me to your site. My IM doc refused HRT (I am 57 with zero risk and have OP & osteopenia). She said the risk of heart disease and Breast CA is too much and I would need to stop it after 5 years anyway.
I fired her yesterday.

I am convinced if my drs, (yes plural) would have realized as I now do, that I was having menopause symptoms, that my thyroid wouldn't have made me crash after having hysterectomy. It caused a domino effect with me. Heart problems, weight gain, going from once pretty healthy to not being healthy. omg, my story is so typical yet I felt I was dying.

Had very early menopause at age 36. Nobody recommended anything all these years. I'm now 60. Chances of of heart disease, heart attack, and death are so much higher. Makes me so freaking hopeful ... NOT. You younger women had better pay attention to this and DEMAND action from your doctors ... or FIRE them immediately if they refuse or act like you're nuts.

Fantastic video! Very informative, thank you. Please get rid of the music in the background - could hardly hear everything.

Yes you are so able to articulate this info, but I have to watch it five times and take notes because the music is completely distracting, I don’t have that much time so I’m looking to another channel on YouTube with the same content. Thx for trying,

How do we have access to this article to print it out as you suggest? I’d also be interested in reading the other article you mentioned. Thank you!

Can you do a video on Surgically induced menopause in 30s. I am very concerned about hormone replacement for this and the length of taking hormone replacement

I have perfect blood pressure, normal weight, and all labs came back great save high fsh and estrogen trending down. No history of heart issues. Since I mentioned I have heart palpitations at the onset of a hot flash the gyn said I need clearance from my general practitioner and an EKG. She also wanted to argue since I was having less than 10 hot flashes in 24 hour interval hrt was not good for me. And this is an Emory doctor.

Thank you for sharing your research so succinctly. Please lose the background music. It's irritating and distracting from all your good advice.

Thank you for this info. Why do the HRT estradiol meds have warnings of heart attack blood clot and stroke? I’m so confused !

Love your work and the way you bring the info across to all of us! But background "music" is a torture to my yet unmedicated ADHD system.
You discribe things so brief and clear you do not need any boom boom. Ah, and sorry for being blunt - I'm German, the stereotype is true 🙂

Love your info. I'm 66 and wondering if there is anything I can do to reduce risk of heart attack and stroke since I'm past 10 years from menopause, and can't take HRT? (besides the obvious diet and exercise)

Can anyone give me tips on keeping my estrogen patch stuck on for the entire week? I find every time I exercise it unsticks 🙃 before I apply it I exfoliate the area and clean it with rubbing alcohol, let it dry then apply with clean hands. I’ve tried lower back, buttocks and front of thigh. Thigh works best for me where the skin is tight with no folds. Still I end up popping a Band-Aid over it to keep it on. Help! Might ask for cream instead?

But the diet helps more in keeping your hormones better.

What does the research show about HRT increasing the risk of breast cancer?

How do you know if you are a good candidate for HRT?

I’m on HRT. What happens when I stop taking the hormones after 5 years? Will my chances of cardiovascular disease then increase?
