Following up on last weeks OSRS magic gear progression guide, and melee gear progression guide. this is the third in a three part series on runescape gear progression. In this OSRS range gear progression guide I will be taking you through an optimal upgrade strategy. due to the niched out nature of gear in OSRS this might not be 100% ideal for your exact playstyle. while there are a ton of different scenarios where you might want to use a different type of gear, I tried to be as general as possible.

I'm sure i missed a bunch of ranged gear, but if I missed it, you probably don't really need it anyways so.. i guess leave some half baked comment below about it.

Hey everyone, take a look at Hunters sunlight crossbow and Moonlight antler bolts. Its better than Magic shortbow i with Amethyst arrows. Its 3 tick speed, 8 tile range, 79 attack with 60 str. So its like an MSB i with dragon arrows, can shoot further and be used with a shield! 😊

For the mid-level stuff, you should mention that the MSB should be imbued, and also that Amethyst arrows are stronger than Rune (for much higher cost). Then, the Hunters' Sunlight Crossbow is the next tier up from that (with 50 Hunter) as its 3 tick speed on rapid and frees up the shield slot and has more range.

love the guides dude amethyst arrows can be used with the msb though

What if money isn't an object at 40 ranged? Robin hood hat? Archers gloves and pants? Any good tools or plugin suggestions for bis would be nice

Can you make a progression guide for my chunk locked, 1 inventory slot, no run, hardcore defense pure?

Have you tried unfortified Masori + the new scorched bow? How does it compare to bowfa + crystal? Is it better than unfortified Masori + crossbow/buckler?
