This was my favorite part of the fight. The two of them forgetting their allegiances and just enjoying the fight to prove how they could handle each other.

This guy had to be ganged up and
assassinated
by 15 people whilst holding an entire island,
and
he still almost won. Also, even Oda himself had
trouble finding a way
to defeat Kaido (he said on an SBS segment) for the people who think luffy still beats kaido in a actual 1v1

Honestly the only reason kaido hasn't been challanged like this before is probably the fact that 1) the ones he fights doesn't get the chance to fight him and lose 15 times before he kills them and 2) no one is crazy enough too face him again like that after getting a luffy vs kaido first clash oneshot k.o beatdown
