Why are there so many different VR straps?

There are so many ways to attach a VR device to your face. Each head strap offers a different combination of perks as well as downsides.

Great to hear you were able to print the adapters for using the Vision Pro solo knit band on your Quest. I do have a "quick print" version that should print in an hour or so but it does not have the ear cup amplifiers. The best combo I've found for the Quest 3 is the Open Facial Interface in combination with the Apple Solo knit band. I just can't take all the extra weight of the Bobo style halo straps. I do think I may do a version of the Vision pro adapter that works with the Annapro top strap that should help with longer sessions.
My use case for Quest 3 is all stationary media consumption, so I don't mind keeping it plugged into the outlet next to my chair. So the battery headstrap is not useful in my case but I completely understand yours.

do recommend buying the solo knit band for the quest 3? It is kind of pricey for 100$ however, it looks like you can effortlessly take on and off the quest 3.
