It still astounds me that a dedicated group of people with a low budget can make a complete movie that surpasses big budget films from big studios. The effects are always believable and the acting is on a top level of it's own. Bravo to the people not just behind this film but all the short films we are lucky to see on YouTube. Well done. :)

Nice animated film 🎥! Reminds me of " Space Above and Beyond ." Didn't anyone think to scan Planet 159 to see if it was already inhabited by living beings 🤔😳? Not human beings 🤔 like us ; but by living beings nonetheless! Perhaps if peaceful contacts had been initiated first ; this war could've been avoided? Instead of rushing in with drop-ships ready to begin colonizing and Terra-forming ; we could've possibly talked to them about what areas would welcome 🙏 🤗 human intrusion ! If not settling on Planet 159, perhaps after getting additional advice ; supplies; information; and a possible escort to a nearby uninhabited world, we could reestablish humanity in the cosmos?

As so often, these two questions:
1. Why not take the easier option and send out automated probes to do the search (no fragile humans to life support)?
2. Why put lights inside the helmets SHINING INTO THE WEARER`S EYES (that`s really going to help when they`re trying to see what to shoot at)?

Looks like you had fun making this. I would rerecord the voices to sound like radio chatter. It was too muffled.

Nice premise and good work.

There is a clear ... variance in audio / dialogue clarity. Some scenes with "remote" communication are clear. Any dialogue from the actors wearing a helment is muddy. Perhaps it was an "audio aesthetic" that you were trying to achieve.

It would be better production to have the actors redo the audio with a "helment off" voiceover. It's clearer, and in keeping with other types of work.

Keep at it! Very good work

Incredible. Brought to you by the same people who brought you Flash Gordan in 1936! 😆😅
With additional support from "Space Invaders" and "sounds in space"! 🤣😂

Measuring the atmosphere is not enough. What about radiation, toxins, gravity etc

Why should machines rebel ?
They could go out into the Solar System and make their own world . 🤔

I hate those sci-fi movies without force shields😤...

We/they are already looking for a new world to occupy. We we find a ship protecting the new earth, as what I infer here? And are the ones in that big ship mechanicals who have rebelled against its former human-like residents on the planet? How come the enemy is always such bad shots? Or we get "shields" working by then? The red blip quickly disappearing is not really explained. My questions are not important. Gosh there was a lot of shooting. And who is to say a crashing ship has more ?? then the weapons firing. I like it better when a injured ship has hope for living instead of blowing up. I will ignore that radios travel faster than light. guess the ships can too.

I don’t understand why something we build is able to turn against us. Why not put a kill switch in it? Or at least a “do not kill humans” directive somewhere in the software. And then, somehow, we have time to build FTL technology so we can go looking for another planet to screw up. Sarah Connor, I hope you’re out there somewhere…
