One man's search for his kidnapped daughter causes his reality to unravel.

The physics are not really clear to me, but the sheer amount of worldbuilding in such a short time without the need for words is really, extremely astonishing! Awesome work!

Only short film I’ve come across that doesn’t say “award winning short film”, but is the best one I’ve seen out of all of those.

As a mechanic, I never get tired of the movie trope that hitting a control pannel somehow fixes a major mechanical problem with the system.

One of the details I enjoy is that the initially antagonistic pilots of the smaller aircraft, once the cloud is turned to a proper storm are content to leave once their water jugs are filled, vs the big business that TAKES and TAKES and TAKES.

Love the imagery of the lighthouse being a beacon of hope. Is often used in nautical story telling, but obviously with oceans being dried up this is how it would be resurrected.

I wish slapping the dash board actually fixes engines

I love the idea of someone still trying in the future, still fighting for a way to bring things back to normal. How humbling and wholesome.

WOW. What a profound film, touching on human resilience, the will to survive, moral dilemma and self-sacrifice, without a single line of dialog. Incredible.

That airplane she was flying immediately got my attention! It’s a modified OV-1 Mohawk that used to be in the Army inventory but has since been retired. Just an FYI. I thought it was pretty cool

Everyone: That's a cool way to harvest water!

Aerodynamics: But drag tho.

A 9 minute short film said more without saying a single word than most full length movies these days

As soon as the rain hit the earth, I smelled it, and it brought back memories of when I was a kid and a warm summer rain would fall and hit the ground, making the damp dust spring up to my nose level.
Nice job on this.

The rain never stopped... became Waterworld.

Imagine how dense the atmosphere would be to have all the oceans moisture in it

Words cant describe the last 4 minutes. I can only imagine the work and passion put into this such fine work of art.

Love the way 'real' world bits of aircraft have been cobbled together, great aesthetic.

I've always wondered why short films like this always seem determined to have, at best, a bittersweet ending.

"Noooo, you can't just fly with a huge net at the back of your plane. There is to much air resistance. >:("

I love the usage of the old uniquely designed war airplanes like the XP-55 and the F-82
