Another excellent food is green table grapes. Pineapple works best before consuming mucus forming foods, while table grapes work best right afterwards.

I'm using lemon, ginger, fennel and burdock root teabags. One hot cup of tea a day. It seems to be helping.

Yeah, a 30 minute slow & easy jog 3 to 4 times a week clears mucus. You have to exercise. When the body is heated with exercise, it breaks up the thick mucus in your body & stay hydrated.

Oregano is another antiviral. I use it at the first sign of a stuffy nose or cough. I use oregano oil. One drop on my foot gets rid of the stuffy nose within 5 minutes. It also helps with sinus problems.

I can't believe you didn't include turmeric, a known mucus and phlegm expectorant. A decoction of ginger, turmeric and honey is excellent for a sore throat and congestion. Even very young children can have this with no ill effects. Or just mix a teaspoon of turmeric with 2 teaspoons of honey. You'll find that your mucus will start reducing.
