lawn-boy 10734 drive belt replacement.

i was working on a Lawn Boy self-propelled lawn mower today, drive belt needed to be replaced, this job required about 1.5-2 hours, transmission must be removed from machine to change drive belt, this is a shit design in my opinion.

Absolutely horrible. How do you remove and replace. Useless

Thanks for the video… I have the same machine.
It works well… But it does need high regular maintenance.

I try to keep it clean, and well lubed in all the essential areas.
I’ve had carburetor issues (They don’t build them like they used too..lol..) I’ve needed to take the carb apart and clean every 2nd year or so.

But, now it was time to replace the drive belt….

just got a model 8155 sn/ E1260196 the one your working on, 10734
looks closer than other self propelled lawn boys mowers mine has chrome handle bars
