Lawnboy Lawnmower Model 17734

Review of the lawnboy lawnmower model 17734. features electric start and rear wheel drive. Easy to assemble. Just bolt the upper handle to the lower and snap the front axl into place. Features a True start engine guaranteed to start on 1 to 2 pulls for 3 years. No oil change needed. Just check add and go. No priming either.

They include a container of 4 cycle SAE 30 oil and a packet of fuel saver. A couple issues. The rear mud flap is flimsy and was ripped which ended up ripping off during the maiden Mow. Also one of the handle bolts was missing.Also the battery compartment is in a bad spot. Got to close to the fence and broke the battery cover off so had to use electrical tape to re-attach it.

Other than that, it does the job. Took 2 months to arrive cause of issues with the Oak Park FedEx location.

Interesting. I'm not familiar with Kohler engines, but it sure sounds like a lawnmower if I ever did hear one.

Electric start via battery? Now THAT'S luxury! In a few years they'll switch to keyfobs and a button, har har!

That's something I'll look into when my mower dies. I can't believe it even still runs with all it has been through, especially seizing like it does every once in a while. I've never owned a new mower, much less one with a sharp blade.

I'd like to hear about the flap and bolt, and if they're going to send you new ones without a problem.

I can't imagine _not_ changing oil in a combustion engine! How does it not get dirty over time? Seems like it starts right up though.
Hopefully they will send the missing/defective parts with no hassle.
