I think Niyu's side was more convincing as when u have money at that particular second in form of credit card u often tend to spend more as we think that anyways we will need to pay the money later but the banks implies interest which basically puts u at loss. also cred app can be used by the people having credit score above 750; then what about the others? they will still be at loss, right?

Nice topic to debate on. So here's my story:
I'm a software engineer since 2 years and I don't have a credit card.
From my perspective, if you are a fresher and newly joined after college then DON'T GO FOR CREDIT CARDS. This is what close friends of mine have taught me.

Credit cards in early days of our careers can be tempting. Like Niyu mentioned, banks do offer us "free" cards and being a naive employee you may fall into it.

Now let's say, 4 years in future I get married and I'm well settle. Now could be the time where you exploit the advantages mentioned by Abhi. By then life must have also taught u some valuable financial lessons where you are mature enough to control unwanted expenditure.

What's your thoughts on this theory?
