For someone who only travels once a year renting a car not traveling by airplane. Not owning a car working remotely from home. My two credit cards that get the most spend is the American Express Blue Cash preferred $95 annual fee earn 6% on groceries up to$ 6, 000 a year, 3% on gasoline purchases ( only use while traveling with a rental car), 3% on Transportation which includes Rideshare and public transportation. Chase unlimited freedom or Freedom Card earn 5% on Lyft rides. The Freedom Card I occasionally earn 5% on the quarterly bonuses if it's a spending category I use.
