M1 iPad Pro 12.9 Inch Review | Is Bigger Better?

After upgrading to the M1 iPad Pro 12.9 Inch a month ago, I wanted to share my thoughts on Apple's latest high end tablet and if I think it's an upgrade worth making. After the minor iOS updates announced at WWDC 2021, does it makes sense to just stick with the 2018 iPad Pro or the cheaper iPad Air? Did I make a mistake by upgrading from the 11 inch 2020 iPad Pro? At the end of this video I share my recommendation on which iPad you should buy based on your tablet use.

I also went from an 11” 2020, to the 12.9” 2021…and this video was exactly how I felt. Start to finish. Initially I was taken aback by how much larger the 12.9 is. Now LOVE the larger size, and I have no interest in picking up my 11” Pro anymore. I once adored my 11”…but you hit the nail on the head, the 12.9 2021 is the ultimate tablet for the ultimate tablet user. If, and when, desktop applications arrive…my iPad will be supported. I purchased all three iPad’s of the 2021 line up. I ended up keeping the iPad 12.9 after all said and done. I couldn’t be more pleased with the iPad Pro 12.9 and like you, I hope Apple will introduce more options with the M1 powerhouse.

Here is my thing. I have a 8th generation. I held it to my sisters iPad 11 and it is the same size. Yes the screen is wider resolution is wider, but basically the same. I held the 12.9 at Best Buy. Now that is a screen. But, I do understand portability.

Dope video Noah! I decided to go with the 11inch M1 iPad Pro. I upgraded from the 2019 IPad 9.7 inch. I WAITED for this thing. It’s my sole personal computing device and I’m happy with it. I am disappointed with how apple has handled iPadOS 15 but I’m also optimistic! Let’s see what happens later this year. Fingers crossed!

I just bought the 12.9” 2TB iPad Pro together with the latest magic keyboard. It replaced my first generation iPad Air which I’ve owned since 2013. Now that’s an upgrade!
