I just had a guy today. Tell me my easy flow French drain is not gonna last. Little did he know I’ve been talking to Apple Drains and I know better.

Thank you for the informative video! I’m in central Wyoming. Not much issues for too much rain but spring time with snow melt can be an issue. We decided to try the “rain handler” and not the conventional gutter system. I’ve mixed feelings on whether that was a good choice . Now I’m thinking French drain is needed to move the water from the house. I’ve been watching many of your videos and they’ve been very helpful, thank you!!

great idea, don't use duct tape use PVC tape .I would use PVC tape on a coupling, agree that is the best shovel I have one broken many cheap ones, tip of the day get a file sharpen your shovels makes a big difference, big jobs use old plywood you can reuse it many times small jobs no need .That soil looks like easy street compared to clay we have up north ., lay your pipe on GEO non woven filter fabric then pipe then washed gravel at least 3/4 inch gravel then do a burrito wrap, folk use lots of gravel all the way to the top then wrap it with the fabric .then lay sod on top

Do you still give estimates in Columbus, Ohio?

Good luck digging with that Razorback in the north. 25' of trench will take you a full day. It's well worth renting a good piece of equipment to save time...and your back.

I've noticed some (all?) of the recent videos are flipped horizontally.

In your demo: No filter fabric, No stone, No sock. Isn't that corrugated and perforated drainage pipe going to clog up with particulate within a year?
