Even if you could clear B2 exam in 5 months, the fluency will take time.

Wtf. I completed A1 in 3 months and barely passed the Goethe exam. Then after 1 year I can read and listen in B1 German but speaking and writing are still A2 level because German grammar and gendered nouns remains tough. I literally get scammed and wondered why am I not getting better, by these YouTube polyglots Or linguists. They say 6 months for fluent German and in the middle of the video, say that they have learned German passively for 2-3 years like wtf, what happened to the truth these days?! What happened to it?! Why not put 2 and 1/2 years to speak intermediate German. They will instead write 6 months to complete German. If Geothe can say that what about you ppl?! They even list 3 years minimum to speak at B1-B2 level German fluency for people who have no interest in the language or who are just doing it for job and mind you it's minimum years. Maximum God only knows.

6 Months for A1-A2 & 4 Months for B1-B2 is ideal tbh 🙌

Please dont give unrealistic timelines.. I have been living in Germany for last 2 years and took 1.5 years to complete B2, still i will not call myself fluent even though i make sure to speak Deutsch with my German friends. Even my friend who has a German boyfriend, is still in Progress and not fluent. You can call yourself fluent only when you are confident enough to attend an interview in Deutsch. On average it will take 2-3 years for one to become fluent.

Double or triple this and it's about realistic but you will just pass the exam not actually be a REAL B2 etc.

B2 in 5 months is very optimistic. In any language. Not impossible. But ambitious for sure.

I believe that one can learn the basics of a foreign language in about a year. To speak fluently, it will take at least 3 years. I studied French at school for about 6 years and later on I stopped practicing it. However, I still understand it quite well and I can have a conversation in French, although I forget a lot of vocabulary and grammar. I still speak it fairly well because my brain kept a lot of the information.

Well kinda true but u have to put a lot of hours I learnt German in 3 momths up to b2
Passed the exams I’m not too fluent obviously. But I can listen to any German hören and understand completely and I can hold pretty much about any conversation auf deutsch, but I was putting in half my day learning the language and was attending German classes anything is possible if u put ur mind to it🎉

I think german is a language of patience. You cant rush it because it has a hard grammar, just enjoy it bc if you rush it too much youre gonna feel overwhelmed

It depends on motivation. For example i had zero motivation for learning French and still after 7-8 months i speak very little.

But I'm very motivated to get Germany PR so i think i would be A2 in German in 2 months .

personally i studied 6 months and now have the confidence to pass b1 and b2 ...but passing only the exam doesn't mean that you are now excellent..the realistic nature comes with time and you must not stop putting your efforts..

A1 in 2 weeks is impossible. No German teacher recommend it.
Even if u do it.
Your basics are very week creating problem in higher level (B1-b2).

Put 2-3 months in each level and study 4-6 hours daily. In order to see real results

I mean if u wanna pass ur Goethe exam I guess A1 in 2weeks and A2 in 2 weeks and b1 in 4 weeks and b2 in 4 weeks are doable but only if u can dedicate 8-10 hrs to study.
