Greetings from Germany. I am a German officer and my Grandfather was a German officer in the Second World War. Many viewers mentioned the aspect of technology before. Mass production but inferior. They were afraid of the Soviet soldier after 1941 because the „Ostfront“ was a war of destruction and the response of the enemy clear. Most of the soldiers wanted to be a POW of the Americans or British in 1945 because of the treatment. The British were seen far more civilised than the Americans.
Sideeffect: a great uncle of mine was a German paratrooper taken prisoner near Paris. He married a Scottish lady and become a police officer shortly after the war in Manchester with a heavy German accent.👍🏻😉

They had little to no respect towards the soviets, but feared them like crazy, way more than the americans or British as they didnt take prisoners usually. They respected the british the most and thought of them as a professional army but not as effective. They considered the Americans an unprofessional army and had little respect for them and thought they won only due to their industrial might. They didnt fear the allies as they took POWs.

As a German I can say that this video is absolutely crap. My father always told me, he respected the Soviets above all. He had no fear or respect for the Americans at all. The American soldier was despised most, as he only had overpowering resources, but no bravery or honor. There were, of course, formidable exceptions, but over all, the Americans were cowards with a big mouth. Sorry to tell that or busting a myth. But there is no nice way to tell the truth.

Another American made ego rubbing crap, I was talking to a German who served in WW2, he told me that when the British shelled the Germans ducked, when the German shelled the British ducked, when the Americans shelled everybody ducked……….he said they feared the British/Canadians the most as they were very professional, the Americans always relied on weight of numbers and air power, if they had no air power they were easy meat (his words)
