I’m from England, and I remember when I was in a café in Hanover and I asked for the bill in German (“können wir bitte die Rechnung haben”) and the waitress was so happy that I spoke her language, it’s the little things in life that count. Love Germany from England 🇩🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

I go to Germany virtually every year . . . Hamburg with my brother and mates. . . Baden Baden with my girlfriend. . . I can honestly say the German people are beyond fantastic. . . And In any local bar the locals are literally queuing up to talk to you when they hear you are English
I recommend it highly
Love from the uk

I'm an Englishman been to Germany a good few times in the last 10 years due to my football team (Man City) becoming pretty good at football. Been to Munich twice oktoberfest is an experience everyone should sample. Berlin, hamburg, Dussledorth, and few Cities that I'm not going to attempt to spell. Germany is my favorite country, the beer, the people are funny and polite, transport is spot on.

I love Germany and the German people. Very cultured and similar humour to us here in England.

I think both the English and Germans are as stubborn as each other and we respect each.

Gotta love guy dressed as a punk saying he hasn't been influenced by British culture.

I´m very disappointed of my fellow countrymen. No one mentioned english gardens. Nobody does gardening better than the English.

Not as positive as I'd hoped. My experiences with Germans have been very good. I certainly wouldn't consider myself as impolite and it was interesting hearing British music being played in a lot of places...

It's funny how both the British and Germans are sort of the same but don't really know much about each other.

I have been many times in England. I discovered many similarities, indeed we are from the same tribe. I am from a Saxon tribe ( Westphalia) and I think the english culture have a great influence to ours. We had many british Regiments here in North Rhine Westphalia....many ex soldiers remained here after the army time. You will find many british series in german TV. Yes I can say in the bottom of our hearts 💕 we love the English.

My brother was stationed in Germany when he was in the army, I went to visit him there in paderborn, i was shocked about how clean the streets are there, and also (I know cigarettes are unhealthy) cigarette vending machines on street corners, not vandalised and robbed, which it would be in the uk, such a different attitude over there which really opened my eyes to other possibilities of how to live as a society, I know this video is about what germans love about England, but I love Germany

I love the sound of the German language, and am interested in learning it. Cool to hear Mumford & Sons mentioned. I adore a band called 'Faun' from Germany. Also Leaves' Eyes are a great band.

The Germans and English are not so different. The minor differences in my experience are that Germans are more blunt and honest, the English are generally more polite, Germans like to stare, and the English are more likely to engage in small talk. Perhaps Germans are also more kind but I don't know. Then you have to consider the differences between a Bavarian and a North German haha. Or a Southern Englander and a Northerner, etc. I'm Southern myself. And in most other ways, we are extremely similar to Germans.

My late father spent time in Germany in the 1960s as his firm sold/erected temporary prefabs where the RAF had trashed their cities. He loved the Germans and found two notable things:
No bad feelings about the war and the standard of people's English.
Britain and Germany are market leaders in their speciality. Them engineering and us culture. Share the love everyone.
Ubrigens ich lerne Deutsch aktuelle und mochte ich Deutschland besuchen als lockdown vorbei ist. Ich habe ein MZ!

As an Englishman, Germany is my favourite country away from home. I've been twice and absolutely loved it. Safe, friendly, very clean and organised. I look forward to going again. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍻🇩🇪
