I agree with most of your points but I love"boho" styles, Indian saris, ethnic styles, hippie styles, handmade and vintage.I don't want to be a boring dresser.I really like unusual and unique clothes.

I grew up in Scotland and in school we wore uniforms so I’ve been polishing my shoes for quite a few years now. I definitely agree that unpolished shoes are really sloppy and cheap looking.

Thank you Serena! Couldn’t agree more with everything you pointed out. I NEVER liked the ripped, distressed jeans and I’m so glad their time has come to an end. I still see people wearing them but never understood the appeal.

Hi, Serena. Yes, please do a video on jean selections. Ever since I've gone through menopause, I've struggled with finding jeans that fit. I found myself buying several cheap pair just to try to figure out what styles, size fit best. At this point, I would truly love to hsve just a few pairs of great fitting jeans to rely on.

A former coworker from Mississippi told me once that she would never leave the house without a full face of makeup and her hair done. Growing up in Mississippi, she said the only excuse for going out even to the gas station with your face bare was if your momma died. She said she was moving and ran to the grocery to pick up lunch for the movers. A church friend saw her and was immediately horrified. She said with tears in her eyes, “when did your momma fall ill?” Glynda laughed and explained that she hadn’t lost her mom, she was just surprised by the movers who showed up hours early. She hadn’t had time to fix her face. They both laughed and her friend said she understood. But Glynda never left home without makeup again.

I enjoyed your video this morning. I'm old enough to die of natural causes, but I never noticed that zippers were different lengths. I wear warm flannel shirts, overalls, and black memory foam shoes from Walmart, so I don't really care about style (obviously), but I am cheering you on!
