I just love how he low-key included the "questionable wiener route" at 2:00 that the ship captain made before entering the suez canal.

"Optimistically, an excavator was sent..."

Very optimistically I might add. 🤣

With the normal music, I was half expecting "a squadron of F-15 strike eagles" to be part of the script somehow

better job describing what happened in the Suez in this video than what every news agency in the world reported

One of the few operations on this channel that was carried out peacefully, without a shot fired.

That excavator... Did anyone else imagine someone from afar shouting: "push it away, you can do it!"

Imagine being the captain of the first ship to go through after the canal is opened and knowing you have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever

"Well Tom, it's the sort of thing you hate to see. Something every coach covers at least once in training camp, but at the end of the day and the end of the play, if a Golden-class container ship runs aground on the field, you're looking at a week-long game delay. At least. A headache for any team on a good day, and one heck of a disruption to 12% of world trade."

This is exactly what I wanted to know, and which no news agency in the world was apparently willing to provide to me. Thank you very much! You earned a Patreon today!

It was claimed at first that it was a complete power outage then it was reported as wind then wind and a sandstorm I don't know what to believe. I am also glad you did a video on this.

Anyone else find it absurd that a ship blocking the canal threatening global economic disaster had ONE excavator brought to try to dig it out?
