Always bear in mind that documentaries (especially political ones) are oftentimes little more than propaganda delivery systems hiding under the veneer of legitimacy we collectively grant to documentary films—films which are _supposed_ to be unbiased presentations of factual information.

They're perfectly fine to watch as entertainment, but they're still acting as a proxy for doing _actual research, _ and their job is to convince you that the new opinion _they just gave you_ (by ommiting certain context/information, etc.) is _actually your own_ when it's really not. It's legitimately spooky when I think about how many of my teenage opinions were _actually_ Michael Moore's political views... the guy helped define a whole generation's voting patterns with "documentaries". 💀💀

I watched easy e daughters documentary about her fathers passing on prime. Just to realize he simply had undiagnosed aids for years.
