Celebrities stay home and don’t have any friends?? I’ve been living like a celebrity this whole time & didn’t even know it. 💀

After spending 2 years as a bodyguard, I can confirm this. I learned after being around celebrities is that they are human beings at the end of the day. Most want to be treated like everyone else and will respect you for being nice and not acknowledging their fame. I personally only ever wanted to be rich, but not famous. I would disappear after making my billions. I would hate the attention of fame.

This reminds me of when I saw Kate Beckinsale at a train station.
She gave me a look that said "I just want to get my groceries home in peace, please."
I had to respect that.

After dating a daughter of a famous celebrity, I realized that at a personal level I prefer to keep a distance from them. Messed up and ungrounded. Life feels like chaos. But then I am happy with just a book, and a picnic basket under a tree. I do not crave crowds or shinny things.

“I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is ending up with people who make you feel all alone.”

As a current limousine driver, I can confirm every Celebrity I meet wants to be treated like a genuine human being. I have made many personal clients just by pretending not to know who they are.

Even their own crews are infested with fans with skills that they need for business.

Most sports celebrities I meet are stuck at the age that they became famous, maturity wise. They blow money on chicks with kids they simp for like an 18 would. It quite a culture shock to be so close to their lives.

I'm an actor, director and musician and I think this video just changed my life. I've been struggling with my goals and ambitions, coming closer towards them but feeling less good about the perks than I always imagined it would be like while still feeling bad about not being as successful as I aimed to be. This made me think about the way I could pursue my career without needing the great success and attention, but just enjoying the process and projects as they come. This took a lot of pressure off me and made me realize how naive I was in regards to how I imagined the life of celebrities. I thank you deeply for creating and sharing this video.

I'll pick being depressed and rich, anyday over depressed and broke.

What’s most bizarre is that despite this so many celebrities think they are experts on everything and it is their duty to tell the public what to believe and how to live.

I know it’s weird to hear but tbh you most likely are more happy than your favorite celebrity. At the end of the day, they’re just puppets for the industry, they’re being told what to do, and speak. Fame and wealth comes with a price, and that price is your soul and happiness .

Kate Winslet said in an interview how she was just 20 turned 21 during the filming of Titanic. From being able to just buy a newspaper and milk at the grocer. In an instant, she couldn't do that anymore. She says how her private life instantly vanished at that time. However, she does say she doesn't regret it as acting truly was her passion and she knew what she was signing up for but it was still a painful experience to have that sudden change in her lifestyle and she says at times it almost felt offensive at what lengths the paparazzi would do just to get to her and get a reaction.

A nurse asked him to sign his private medical paperwork for her personal usage. That sounds like a great way to lose your license and probably sued.

After spending more or less the last 20 years without any friends and sitting alone at home, I think I'm finally ready for my fame and big pay day

I remember being homeless and living in a tent, and then a van. Best time of my life.
Corporate work is draining the life out of me.

Reminds me of two things:

Donna Leon doesn't publish her books in Italian, meaning she has her peace in her home country

A lot of famous Japanese artists (Mangaka, LN authors, artists, ...) REALLY value their privacy going so far as to wear masks or giving only written interviews.

So the famous people are upset that they're famous, and non-famous people are upset that they're not famous!!! 😅

I really don't get the obsession people have with celebrities and acting weird around them like they're not just regular people

So if I walk up and ask a celebrity “what’s up, how you been, wanna grab lunch?” You really think they’re gonna acknowledge me?
