When I was aged 9, I lived in Guyana in the 70's. I was nearly killed by an adult green anaconda, 7 miles west of a Town called Mathews Ridge. I walked up to it because I thought it was a fallen tree but no... it was a monster and it saw me as food.

I watched this doco last time you posted it and now I'm watching it again, I'm looking forward to watching it for the third time in about a year or so as 70% will be new again. It still blows my mind how Marion swims with a Giant 8 metre man eating Anaconda { MARIOCONDA } and goodness knows what else is lurking below the surface, not to mention the mosquitoes are big enough to carry you away. Come to think about it everything wants to kill you, the soil the water, bugs, insects, animals in the water on the water, on the land and in the trees even in the sky.

It’s not the biggest snake in the world, though it is the heaviest and Guyanas the perfect place for them. As 90% of the country is primary rainforest.
