This is the view of Western (Protestant and Catholic) Christianity, not Orthodoxy. Orthodox Christianity’s view is much closer to the Jewish one mentioned in the video

As a Christian pastor I believe you’ve misunderstood the church’s teaching on sin. Whilst Christians believe that sin taints all humans, they also affirm that people are good - part of God’s good creation, worthy of love and honour - and sin doesn’t change. Jesus affirmed that by the way he honoured people, and sacrificed himself for them.

Whoa, Judaism aligns much more with my thinking. I went to protestant churches some when I was a kid but was never church-going but I never bought that original sin stuff. If we are made in the image of God, and are born with sin, then God must have sin. At least that was a kids thinking. I am not anything. I like the idea of heaven and of a loving God that loves me but it's a reach. I love teachings from all the religions and I love studying all religions. Their teachings are really rules for living in a society and getting along and making the community a better place so as to not do harm, show love, judge by actions not by words etc.

Good video. From a former Christian this is relatively accurate. Baruch Hashem

Was it Freud who declared the Id and Ego? He was a Jewish man.

I love this explanation. Is there supporting scriptural reference(s) that I may read?

Judaism employs a more common sense, less mystical approach. In modern America most people seem to have a more Jewish world view

Agree 100% .
The concept of "original sin" is BS.
