What is the first day of kindergarten like?

A few things I noticed that made this such a great first day. Looks like there is an assistant of some kind in the room, there were multiple recess times, and the teachers had age appropriate activities. How refreshing to see a school district encourage these things. It's not like this everywhere. Boy I miss having an assistant and wish we had multiple recess times so kids could be kids and play.
